Nicole L. Smith

Nicole L. Smith, 36, of Cranberry Township, formerly of Mars, died Monday evening at UPMC Passavant Hospital in Cranberry Township.

Born Aug. 8, 1979, in Butler, she was the daughter of Barbara A. Moody Smith and David Owen Smith.

Nicole had worked as a private duty caregiver, but more importantly, she was a mom to her two kids.

Surviving are her son, Jaden James Fotta; her daughter, Ember Love Warman; her mother, Barbara A. Moody Smith of Mars; her father, David Owen Smith and his wife, Cheryl, of New Bern, N.C.; her brother, Justan Moody and his wife, Jamie, of Butler; her nephew, Coltan Moody of Butler; her grandfather, Monte Moody of Mars; her stepbrother, Aaron Smith; her stepsister, Adrian Smith, both of New Bern, N.C.; her boyfriend, Clinton Warman; her best friend, Claire Fox of Zelienople; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

SMITH — Friends of Nicole L. Smith, who died Monday, Dec. 28, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. Services will be private.

Memorial donations may be given to the family for the benefit of her children.
