Rocco

John Rocco, or as many knew him, “Ron,” 72, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024, from natural causes. John was born on June 25, 1951, to Dominic and Dolores Rocco.

John was a Pittsburgh native, but he spent his retirement days in North Carolina on High Rock Lake. He enjoyed many outdoor activities, including boating, hiking and walking his dog, Jaecar, at the park. He also enjoyed carpentry and spending time with his family.

John was preceded in death by his father, Dominic Rocco; his mother, Dolores Rocco; and his brother, James Rocco (Judy). He is survived by his wife, Cindy Rocco; his sisters, Mary Hrytzik (Bob), Nancy Kodman (Paul) and Jeannie Fehl (Bill); his brothers, Tony Rocco (Linda) and Tom Rocco (Matt); his sons, Mike Rocco (Jodi), Matt Rocco (Nanciann) and Steve Rocco (Lauren); and his six grandchildren, Kyle, Colby, Miles, Dylan, Chance and Ember.

A celebration of John's life will be held at a later date.
