Whittington

Benjamin Whittington, 38, of Indiana, Pa., passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 2, 2024.

He was born in Butler on Aug. 23, 1985, to Linda Simmer and the late John Whittington Sr.

Benjamin was a deli worker at Giant Eagle and loved and thought the world of his co-workers. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his sons, listening to music and playing video games.

Benjamin left behind the love of his life, Haley Weld; sons, Max and Linkin; and brothers, John and Jeremy.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Gary Weinzierl.

WHITTINGTON — Services for Benjamin Whittington, who died Saturday, March 2, 2024, will be held privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
