Brown

Nathan L. Brown Jr., 30, of Butler, went to be with the Lord early Friday morning, March 8, 2024, at his home.

Nathan was born in Butler on April 15, 1993. He was the son of Nathan L. Brown Sr. of Butler and Rachelle L. Kepple Brown of Butler.

He attended Butler area schools and had earned a GED diploma. He was a member of St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church in Butler. He enjoyed hunting, the company of his dog, Echo, and most especially his family.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Angel L. Brown of Butler; his siblings, Staff Sgt. Tyler N. Brown of Fairbanks, Alaska, David M. Matson and his fiancée, Alyssa Weidenhoffer, Larissa J. Matson, Levi S. Matson, Logan Brown, Khloe Brown and Alexis Brown; his maternal grandmother, Theresa Kepple of Butler; his paternal grandparents, Norman and Barbara Brown of Butler; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert Kepple.

BROWN — Friends of Nathan L. Brown Jr., who died Friday, March 8, 2024, will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at HILE FUNERAL HOME OF CHICORA, 339 Chicora Fenelton Road, Chicora. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Matt McClain, pastor of St. Clare Parish, officiating. Interment will be at St. Wendelin Cemetery.
