The Wilkinsburg Stamp Club, which bills itself as one of the oldest philatelic societies in Pennsylvania, is hosting WILKPEX 2024 — its 74th annual stamp and postcard show — on April 12 and 13 at the Holiday Park Fire Hall in Pittsburgh.

This year, the show will feature stamp dealers from as far away as West Virginia and Michigan, who are bringing a wide variety of postage stamps, postal stationery and other philatelic items.

The show’s annual ceremonial cachet this year will feature Hall of Fame baseball manager Jim Leyland, who managed the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1986 to 1996.
