The Butler County Historical Society will present “Echoes from Our Past — Historic Cemetery Walk” bringing history to life through costumed actors assuming the characters of Butler County's ancestors Sept. 27 and 28 at the North Side Cemetery, 1002 N. Main St. Tours are at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sept. 27 and 2 p.m. Sept. 28. Tickets are $14 for the public and $10 for historical society members and Butler Little Theatre season ticket holders. The Old Stone House has public tours between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Saturdays and noon and 5 p.m. Sundays. Admission is $3 per person or $5 per family. A program on open hearth cooking will be held Sept. 13. The historic site at the intersection of Routes 8, 173 and 528 in Brady Township is owned and operated by Slippery Rock University.

Harmony Museum, 218 Mercer St., Harmony, offers guided tours from 1 to 4 p.m. daily except when the museum is closed Mondays. Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for senior citizens, and $3 for youths ages 6 to 17.

Carnegie Science Center, North Side, will host a program in which personnel from Seven Springs Mountain Resort will teach kids how to snowboard from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Learn to Snowboard is included with general admission of $17.95 for adults and $11.95 for children ages 3 to 12. Call 412-237-3400. The center will be closed Sunday and Sept. 28.Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, 700 Frank Curto Drive, hosts the summer flower show until Oct. 5. Conservatory hours are 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and until 10 p.m. Fridays. Admission is $15 for adults, $14 for senior citizens and students, and $11 for children ages 2 to 18.
