Rock soccer nets players of week
SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University senior forward Rachel Edge and junior midfielder Alex Plimmer have been named PSAC West Women's and Men's Soccer Athletes of the Week, respectively.
Edge netted two goals in SRU's first two games, a 2-2 tie with West Virginia Wesleyan and a 2-0 win over Fairmont State.
Plimmer scored the lone goal in The Rock men's 1-0 win over Findlay.
