Grove City graduate Troy Loughry was medalist with a 70 as the BC3 golf team defeated Westmoreland CCC and Penn Highlands Friday at Glengarry Golf Links.The Pioneers tallied a 302, Westmoreland 354 and Penn Highlands 364.Liam Kosior shot a 76 for BC3, Freeport graduate Jack Mason 77, Tanner Hohman 79 and Freeport grad Sarah Fischer a 105. The Pioneers are 6-0 and play Friday at North Park.

Slippery Rock took its first loss Saturday, bowing to Mercyhurst, 1-0, at Egli Field.Emma Yoder made two saves for The Rock (4-1-1, 3-1-1). Rachel Edge had three shots on net. The Rock plays Wednesday at Indiana (Pa.).
