Kummer

Carrie Marie Kummer, 82, of Butler died Thursday at Orchard Manor.

She was born Nov. 22, 1925, in Parker, the daughter of William Simpson and Carrie (Barger) Simpson.

She was a member of Unionville Presbyterian Church and the Legion Auxilary in Ohio.

She is survived by three daughters, Belva Kummer of Butler, Mrs.Jim (Beverly) Hilliard of Eau Claire and Mrs. Kenneth (Brenda) Anderson of Butler; a son,Gary Kummer of Evans City; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Kummer, who died Feb. 4, 1962, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and two brothers.

<B>KUMMER</B> — Friends of Carrie Marie Kummer, who died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, West Sunbury. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Matthew Kail officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Chestnut Cemetery.
