The Slippery Rock University men's soccer team was held scoreless despite nine shots on goal as host Shippensburg defeated The Rock, 5-0 in a PSAC playoff semifinal on Wednesday.

Goalie Greg Blum made five saves for SRU (11-7-1), which now will hope for a spot in the upcoming NCAA Tournament.

Five players scored at least one goal as SRU defeated visiting Mansfield, 6-1 Wednesday.Samantha Badaczewski scored twice, while Katie Krouse, Allie Hartman, Rebecca Coleman and Erin Moran each scored once.Goalie Lisa Belcastro stopped three shots for The Rock (5-12, 2-5).
