A women’s group whose members donate $100 four times per year to local charities and service organizations will meet this week.

Power of 100+ Women, Butler chapter, will meet Thursday evening, Jan. 25, at Butler Brew Works’ location in Middlesex Crossings at the intersection of Route 8 and Route 228 West.

Those ordering food should arrive at 6 p.m. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will last less than an hour.

The group meets the fourth Thursday of January, April, July and October to hear three nonprofit organizations give presentations. Those in attendance then vote on which nonprofit they would like to see receive that evening’s donations.

The nonprofit with the most votes receives $100 from each group member.

If $100 is too expensive, two or three women can share the donation of $100. Women under age 35 donate $35.
