Nominations open to award Concordia employee
The nomination period for Concordia Lutheran Ministries’ highest employee honor, the Stephen W. Johnson Mission Award, is now open.
Current or former residents and patients, Concordia employees or members of the community are invited to nominate current Concordia employees by filling out an online application.
The nominator will describe how the employee shows a dedication to Concordia’s mission of having a Christ-like heart and a commitment to person-centered care.
A banquet will be held in June to recognize outstanding nominees as well as the winner of the Stephen W. Johnson Mission Award.
The award was named for Concordia’s late board of directors chairman, who served at Concordia for 19 years. Johnson died on June 11, 2020 and a committee of employees created the award to preserve his memory and recognize an outstanding employee.
The application is available at swjmissionaward.org.
