Butler's eighth-grade girls volleyball team won the Grove City Tournament Saturday.

The team finished 15-1 in pool play and beat Hopewell 25-23 in the championship game.

Members of the squad include Renee Molnar, Kayla Gilliand, Heidi Graham, Ashley Grenet, Karissa King, Erica Leslie, Shannon Baxter, Katie Willison, Lisa Tipton, Jessica Gade, Sara Schweiger, Elyse Fenstermacher and Breanna Harnish.

Butler hosts a 10-team tournament at 9 a.m. Saturday at the intermediate school.

Marino Querzio, a seventh grader at Butler Junior High, placed eighth in the heavyweight division at the Pennsylvania Youth Wrestling Championships in Hershey over the weekend.
