Mary Elizabeth Graham
Mary Elizabeth Graham, 89, of Mars, formerly of Saxonburg, died Tuesday morning at the VNA Hospice House in Butler.
She was born on Sept. 10, 1923, in Jeannette, Pa., the daughter of the late William and Mary Jane Kidd George.
Mrs. Graham was a kitchen manager and cook for the Sunny Crest Nursing Home, now the Saxony Health Center, in Saxonburg for 35 years.
She was a member of the Saxonburg congregation of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Surviving are two sons, Harold Graham and his wife, Sheila, of Mars and James Graham and his wife, Diane, of Washington state; three brothers, Kenneth George and his wife, Tootie, of Baltimore, Md., Paul George and his wife, Lavada, of Zelienople and Frank George and his wife, Toots, of Carson City, Nev.; a sister, Betty George Wall and her husband, Rich, of Missouri; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John James Graham; a daughter, Norma Jean Whittington; and seven brothers and sisters.
GRAHAM — Friends of Mary Elizabeth Graham, who died on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
