PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Mayor Luke Ravenstahl's nearly seven-year marriage to his high school sweetheart is over.

Ravenstahl's wife, Erin, filed for divorce in March and an Allegheny County judge signed off on a decree Thursday. Erin Ravenstahl wants alimony and child support for their son, who will is 2, but court papers don't detail any property settlement.

The 31-year-old mayor announced the couple were separating in November 2009, three weeks after he was elected to a full four-year term, and later said his wife was uncomfortable in the limelight.

Ravenstahl became mayor in September 2006, because he was City Council president when Mayor Bob O'Connor died of brain cancer. Ravenstahl finished O'Connor's term before running for re-election.

ERIE — An autopsy on the body of an Erie man who jumped off a sailboat into Presque Isle Bay has confirmed he drowned, but offers no immediate clues about any medical condition or other problem that would have prevented him from swimming.Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook tells the Erie Times-News that secondary tests results from Friday's autopsy may shed further light on the death of 27-year-old Raymond Clarke, a GE Transportation worker who had moved to the area from Jamaica.Witnesses say Clarke didn't reach for a life preserver that was tossed to him by friends on the boat.The Coast Guard was called about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday after Clarke went under water. Divers found his body about five hours later in 20 feet of water.
