Jeromie Lee Davis
Jeromie Lee Davis, 33, of Front Street, Chicora, passed away Saturday evening unexpectedly of natural causes at his home.
Jeromie was born on Jan. 23, 1981, in Kittanning.
He was the son of Karen L. Texter and Douglas L. Davis.
Mr. Davis was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Bradys Bend. He attended school in the Karns City School District and had earned his GED. He was a member of Donegal Grange in Chicora. He enjoyed working on his truck, riding mower and farming. Jeromie was a kind, caring and giving person.
He had been employed at JCD Trucking in Petrolia.
Jeromie is survived by his mother, Karen Texter of Petrolia and her friend, Craig Foster, of New Castle; his father, Douglas L. Davis and his wife, Pam, of Franklin; his fiancee, Dianne Smith and her daughter, Sara Mensak, of Chicora; a sister, Jessica Steele and her husband, Bruce, of Butler, and their daughter; Jeromie's niece, Abbie; his maternal grandparents, Kenneth L. and Wilma Serafine Texter of Karns City; an aunt, Karla Meals and her husband, Brien, of Butler; a great uncle, Edward G. Texter of Karns City; a stepbrother, Jared Jacoby of Stoneboro, as well as number of other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jeromie was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ervine and Stella Davis, as well as a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
DAVIS — The friends of Jeromie Lee Davis, who passed away Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, will be received at the Hile Funeral Home, 339 Chicora Fenelton Road, Chicora, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. A blessing service will be at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. John M. Butler, pastor of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Bradys Bend, officiating.
