Rocco buckets 31 in North win
North Catholic’s Alayna Rocco sank seven three-pointers and turned in a total of 31 points — nearly half her team’s output — as the Trojanettes beat Derry, 66-23, Tuesday night.
The road win moved North Catholic to 4-4 overall on the season, with a 3-0 mark in Section 1-4A play. The Trojanettes return home to play Greensburg Salem Thursday.
Mars 66, Fox Chapel 57 — Cecelia Christy finished with a career-best 23 points and Vita Vargo had 16 as the Planets (6-4, 2-0) snapped a two-game skid on the road Tuesday night.
Mars led by 16 entering the final frame and will host Armstrong on Thursday.
Knoch 46, Freeport 30 — Adah Fuller knocked down five treys and poured in a career-high 25 points as the Knights (5-4, 1-1) won their third in a row and their first Section 1-4A matchup of the year.
Tessa Keller paced the host Yellowjackets (4-7, 1-2) with 10 points. Karlee Buterbaugh finished with just as many for Knoch.

Jacob Callihan had a 19-point, 10-rebound double-double and Luke Cramer added 16 points and eight rebounds as Karns City put away Clarion-Limestone, 67-53, Tuesday night.
The Gremlins (6-3) go to Moniteau Thursday night for the latest edition of the programs’ rivalry series.
