Church planning Peach Festival[/naviga:h3] KARNS CITY — The Karns City Methodist Church, 117 Petrolia St., will have its Peach Festival from 4 to 6 p.m. Aug. 22. There will be chicken and biscuits and peach desserts available.

Jennings offers archery course[/naviga:h3] BRADY TWP — Sept. 4 is the deadline to register for an introduction to archery course at Jennings Environmental Education Center, 2951 Prospect Road. Certified archery instructors will offer the course from 1 to 3 p.m. Sept. 13 on the prairie side of the park near the pavilion. The course will include range safety rules and orientation, equipment orientation, the steps involved in shooting and lots of practice.
