CLINTON TWP — Westminster United Presbyterian Church, 210 Westminster Road, will have a holiday hymn sing at 7 p.m. Sunday.

Hosted by Howard Halstead and Ken Tasker, area vocalists and musicians will include Ken Metrick of Mount Chestnut and organist R. Bryan Lassinger of Sarver.

A freewill offering will be received to support the work of The Lighthouse. A refreshment hour will follow the program.

The Apostolate of Fatima will have First Saturday devotions at 8 a.m. Saturday with a Mass at St. Paul Church, 128 N. McKean St., followed by the rosary.There will be a meeting afterward in the Collins Room with the Rev. Angelus Shaughnessy as guest speaker.

The Holy Hour for Peace will be at 7 p.m. Monday at St. Paul Church, 128 N. McKean St. There will be prayers for peace, vocations, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, the rosary and Benediction.The Divine Mercy Holy Hour will begin at 7 p.m. Dec. 17 at St. Paul Church.It will feature prayers for family healing, Divine Mercy Chaplet and Benediction.

BAKERSTOWN — The Adult Education Team of First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown, Route 8 at Heckert Road, is sponsoring Advent dinners in December.Running from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Dec. 18 in the fellowship hall, the dinners will offer fellowship and learning opportunities.Advance sign-ups requested. BAKERSTOWN — The Women of First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown, Route 8 at Heckert Road, will have Christmas Tea at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.Women in the community and church are invited to an afternoon of music, fellowship and hors d'oeuvres featuring music by the Hosanna Jazz Ensemble.After the concert, refreshments will be served in the fellowship hall.Advance registration is requested. The Trinity Jazz Orchestra, Western Pennsylvania's only nonprofit professional, repertory jazz orchestra, will present a Christmas concert at First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St. A plate will be passed for a freewill offering.The Trinity Jazz Orchestra is comprised of music educators and other professional musicians. During the past year, the group has performed many concerts throughout the region, including a benefit performance at Soldiers and Sailors Hall in Pittsburgh.
