Sara and Ken Perkins

Sara Ponteous and Ken Perkins, both of St. Cloud, Fla., were united in marriage June 20 at McClellandtown Presbyterian Church in McClellandtown, Pa. The Rev. Geoff Rach officiated. A reception followed at the Lakeside Party Center.

The bride is the daughter of Kevin and Janice Ponteous of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Ken and Peg Perkins of McClellandtown.

The honor attendant was Noelle Kerr of Butler. Bridesmaids were Neilly Kerr of Butler and Katie Smith of Butler. The flower girl was Paige Ponteous of Butler.

Performing the duties of best man was Brandon Perkins of McClellandtown. Ushers were Ken Perkins Sr. of McClellandtown, Justin Ponteous of Butler, Matt Leck of Ridgway, Matt Plutko of Mars and Shawn Gaster of Fairchance, Pa. The ring bearer was Blake Perkins of McClellandtown.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Butler High School and a 2007 graduate of California (Pa.) University. She is employed by Valencia Community College in Kissimmee, Fla.

The bridegroom graduated in 2000 from Albert Gallatin High School and in 2005 from California (Pa.) University. He is employed by St. Could Middle School in St. Cloud.

Following a honeymoon trip to Seven Springs, the couple is making their home in St. Cloud.
