Serepca, Beers
Lisa Serepca and Stephen Beers, both of Renfrew, were united in marriage Oct. 3 at Zindel Park in McElhattan, Pa. Richard Vilello Jr., mayor of Lock Haven, officiated.
The couple was married while participating in the Bald Eagle Mountain Megatransect, a 25-mile endurance race for hikers and runners held annually in Lock Haven. The ceremony was held at the checkpoint at mile 10 of the event.
The bride is the daughter of Janet Weener of Springfield, Pa., and the late Greg Serepca and stepdaughter of Stanley Weener.
Parents of the bridegroom are Charles and Gayle Beers of Callery.
The maid of honor was Beth Serepca of Springfield, Pa.
Performing the duties of best man was Charlie Beers of Renfrew.
The bride is a 1987 graduate of Springfield High School, a 1991 graduate of Temple University and a 1993 graduate of New England Conservatory of Music. She is employed as the operations director for JK Associates in Conshohocken.
The groom is a 1978 graduate of Seneca Valley High School. He is currently employed as a shipper and receiver for Leopold/ITT in Zelienople.
The reception was held at the Madison Restaurant in McElhattan.
The couple will reside in Connoquenessing Township.
