Blum, Barthlow
Katie Blum and Joshua Barthlow, both of Cranberry Township, were united in marriage Sept. 19 at the First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown. The Rev. Terry Stoops officiated. A reception followed at the Great Hall.
The bride is the daughter of Christopher and Sandra Blum of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Bill and Tina Barthlow of Butler.
The honor attendant was Emily Chiappini of Pittsburgh. Bridesmaids included Missy Fogel of Pittsburgh, Kira Blum of Ormond Beach, Amanda Geibel of Kissimmee, and Tara Maxwell and Ashley Melder, both of Butler.
Performing the duties of best man was Robert Barkus of Pittsburgh. Ushers included Nathan Barthlow of Butler, Eric Blum of Ormond Beach, Joe Geibel of Kissimee, and Kyle Shaffer and Jordan Shuber, both of Philadelphia.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Butler High School and a 2008 graduate of Robert Morris University. She is employed by PolyConcept N.A. in New Kensington.
The bridegroom graduated in 2004 from Butler High School and in 2008 from Robert Morris University. He is employed by USG Insurance Services in Canonsburg.
Following a honeymoon trip to Italy, the couple is residing in Cranberry Township.
