Ogin, Rea
Maria Ogin and Barry Rea, both of Butler, were united in marriage Sept. 26 at Slippery Rock United Methodist Church. The Rev. Pamela Gardner officiated. A reception followed at Tanglewood.
The bride is the daughter of Mary Rose and Terry Ogin of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Samuel and Burdene Rea of Slippery Rock.
The matrons of honor were Kimberly Ogin of Butler, Jamie Claypoole of Butler and Becke Kiddle of Butler. Bridesmaids included Stephanie Lukavich of West Sunbury, Krissy Fisher of Butler, Cara Rea of Slippery Rock and Ashley Calhoun of Butler. The junior bridesmaid was Alyssa Rea of West Liberty. Flower girls were Kate Ogin of Butler and Kelsey Ogin of Butler.
Performing the duties of best man was Brian Rea of West Liberty. Groomsmen included Bruce Rea of Harlansburg, Michael Ogin of Butler, Al Liebold of Polk, Dean Smith of Harrisville, Spencer Rea of West Liberty and Kenny Blatt of Butler. The junior groomsman was Brandon Rea of Harlansburg.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of Butler High School and a 2003 graduate of Butler Beauty School. She also attended Butler County Community College. She is employed by the Visiting Nurses Association in Butler and by Belmont II in Butler.
The bridegroom graduated in 1988 from Slippery Rock High School. He is employed by Ram Transit in Saxonburg.
Following a honeymoon trip to Florida and a Caribbean cruise, the couple is making their home in Butler.
