Leanne and Matthew Walker

Leanne Borland of Leeper and Matthew Walker of Sarver were united in marriage Oct. 3 at St. Joseph Church in Lucinda, Pa. The Rev. William Miller officiated. A reception followed at the St. Joseph Church Hall.

The bride is the daughter of Kimberly and Gregory Borland of Leeper. Parents of the bridegroom are Jean and Jeffrey Walker of Sarver.

The honor attendant was Molly Lewis of Eighty-Four. Bridesmaids were Allison Borland of Leeper, Amy Walker of Sarver, Theresa Brooks of Fryburg and Kristen Ochs of Shippenville.

Performing the duties of best man was Adam Foust of Freeport. Groomsmen were Pernell Shaw of Sarver, Jonathan Benigni of Freeport, Kristopher Kramer of Sarver and Scott Lowry of Sarver.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of North Clarion High School and a 2008 graduate of Gannon University, where she received a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is currently attending the University of Pittsburgh and pursuing a master's degree in nurse anesthesia.

The bridegroom graduated in 2003 from Freeport High School and in 2006 from Gannon University with a bachelor of arts degree in communication arts. He is employed by the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Following a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, the couple is making their home in Springdale.
