Hershberger, Fuhrer
Lindsay Hershberger of Chicora and Brian Fuhrer of Freeport were united in marriage Sept. 26 at Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church in Chicora. The Rev. Steven Neff officiated. A reception followed at Laube Hall in Freeport.
The bride is the daughter of Don and Linn Hershberger of Chicora. Parents of the bridegroom are David and Carol Fuhrer of Freeport.
The maid of honor was Ashton Pakutz of Chicora. The junior bridesmaid was Abby Pakutz of Chicora. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Douglass of East Brady, Caitlin Walter of Londonderry, N.Y., Kimberly Self of Charleston, S.C., Britney Summerville of Chicora and Lindsay Fuhrer of Freeport.
Performing the duties of best man was Nathan Snyder of Philadelphia. Groomsmen were Brian Bender of Meadville, Chad Hershberger of Chicora, Matthew DeLibera of Pittsburgh, Joshua Riggle of Johnstown and Kenneth Negley of New Kensington.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Karns City High School and a 2007 graduate of Clarion University. She is employed by the Center for Community Resources in Butler.
The bridegroom graduated in 2000 from Freeport High School, in 2005 from Slippery Rock University and in 2007 from Clarion University. He is employed by Universal Forest Products.
Following a honeymoon trip to Deep Creek, Md., the couple is making their home in Chicora.
