Shawn Benjamin Slater’s family would like to thank everyone who reached out to us during the sudden death of our loved one, Shawn.

Your many cards of sympathy and gifts of love in honor of Shawn have blessed us and encouraged us. Thank you for delicious meals, provided food and beverages, flower arrangements, fruit baskets, comforters, banners, monetary gifts, library selections, praise CDs and memorial scholarship contributions. So many churches and youth groups, schools, neighbors, and many associates of Portersville Christian School have contacted us expressing love and enjoined sorrow at our loss. As we remember to thank God for our many blessings, especially this time of year, we wish to thank you all for your touch upon our lives.

For those of you who have shared a portion of Shawn’s life, his friends, classmates, teammates, relatives and associates; we wish to also thank and extend to you the source of all comfort and peace, our Lord Jesus Christ.

God has given us all a gift in having Shawn in our lives and He will continue to use that life and now his death to bring Glory to himself. We pray for God’s blessing upon each of you and we thank you again in Christ’s love.
