Sheakley, Kauffman
Jessica Sheakley and Michael Kauffman, both of Franklin, were united in marriage June 26 at St. Titus Church in Titusville. The Rev. Daniel Hoffman officiated. A reception followed at the Arlington Hotel.
The bride is the daughter of Baxter and Joyce Sheakley of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Charles and Diane Kauffman of Norvelt.
The maid of honor was Megan Sheakley of Butler. Bridesmaids included Melanie McDermind of Charlotte, N.C., Jen Smethhurst of Williamsburg, Va., Amanda Barrick of Oil City and Elizabeth McKinney of Middletown, R.I.
Performing the duties of best man was Tom Stumpf of Meadville. Ushers included Mike Mion of Medina, Ohio, Nick Dombroski of Erie, Joe Walker of Erie and Galen McKinney of Middletown, R.I.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Butler High School and a 2007 graduate of Clarion University. She is employed by Cranberry High School in Seneca, Pa.
The bridegroom graduated in 2004 from Mt. Pleasant High School and in 2008 from Gannon University. He is employed as a math teacher.
Following a honeymoon trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple is residing in Franklin.
