EAST BRADY — The 2011 East Brady Riverfest set July 15 to 17 will have a beach theme. Here is a roundup of events:

• The Citizen of the Year Award will be given out. Nominations for the award can be made at the Farmers National Bank, Plaza Pantry and the Outlook Inn. The nominations must be for someone who has made a difference in the community.

• The Beautiful Baby Contest will be July 17, but participants have to register July 15. The first place winner will receive a $100 savings bond, and second place will get a $50 savings bond. For information, call Judy at 724-526-2177.

• On July 16, there will be the Poker Run on the River in the afternoon. There is a $25 entry fee and participants must sign a waiver. For information, call Brian at 724-232-0123.

• Also on July 16, the Clarion County Chapter of the Alliance of Bikers Aimed Toward Education (ABATE) will host a motorcycle show and Dice Run.

There is a $5 entry fee for both events. The show will be at Graham Field from 11 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., and the Dice Run will start immediately after.

• Concluding Riverfest on July 17 will be the car cruise sponsored by the Butler Street Machine Association. It will run from noon to 4 p.m., and prizes will be raffled off. For information, call Brenda at 724-283-9900.
