DUNN, N.C. — Caitlyn Klingler of Fayetteville, N.C., formerly of Hilliards, received the Dunn Area Chamber of Commerce Golden Apple Award.
She teaches kindergarten at Harnett Primary School in Dunn, N.C., and is in her second year of teaching in North Carolina.
Klingler is a 2009 graduate of Moniteau High School. She received a degree in early childhood education and special education from Westminster College in 2013.
She is the daughter of Mike and Sue Klingler of Hilliards.

Aubrey Hutchins, 5, was selected as a finalist in the National American Miss-Miss Pennsylvania Pageant.
She will compete for the title of Pennsylvania Princess in August.
She is the daughter of Richard and Danielle Hutchins of Valencia. She is the granddaughter of Karen and Gary Spacht of Monroeville, Loretta Hutchins of Slippery Rock and Richard and Linda Hutchins of Harmony.
