Smiley, Pakutz
Linda Smiley and Brian Pakutz, both of Jacksonville, Fla., were united in marriage Oct. 16 at North Captiva Island Beach, Fla. The Rev. Bob Cousar officiated. A reception followed at the North Captiva Resort Club.
The bride is the daughter of Janet and Joe Smiley of Punxsutawney. Parents of the bridegroom are Connie and Stan Pakutz of Butler.
The honor attendant was Elaina Smiley of Mars. Bridesmaids included Mandy McMahan of Fort Pierce, Fla., Laura Brown of St. Augustine, Fla., and Jennifer Der Vanik of Pittsburgh. The flower girls were Samantha Bryer of North Versailles and Malina Cameron of Mars.
Performing the duties of best man was Matthew Kline of Columbus, Ohio. Ushers included Brandon Artines of Westchester, Md., Mike Colosanto of Jacksonville, Fla., and Adam Kunkel of Deltona, Fla.
The bride is 1996 a graduate of Punxsutawney Area High School and in 2000 from Clarion University. She is employed by the Art Institute in Jacksonville, Fla.
The bridegroom graduated in 1998 from Butler High School and in 2003 from Edinboro University. He is currently attending the Art Institute, where he is studying Web design and interactive media. He is employed by Time Out Sports Grille.
The couple is making their home in Jacksonville, Fla.
