Garis, Bilowich

Jonathan and Lindsey Bilowich

Lindsey Garis and Jonathan Bilowich, both of Butler, were united in marriage Oct. 16 at St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Butler. The Rev. Alden Towberman officiated.

A reception followed at the Highfield Community Hall in Butler.

The bride is the daughter of Charlene Garis of Chicora and David Garis of East Butler.

Parents of the bridegroom are Edward and Shirley Bilowich of Butler.

The maid of honor was Apryl Sheppeck of Chicora. Bridesmaids included Cathy Malis of Wexford and Erin Green of Baltimore. The flower girl was Sophia Bonner of Charles Town, W. Va.

Performing the duties of best man was Edward Bilowich of New York. Ushers included Chris Bonner of Charles Town, W. Va., Christopher Garis of Butler, Arron Epps of Butler and Jon Madden of Butler. The ring bearer was Walter Crocker of Chicora.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Butler High School and a 2004 graduate of the Lenape School of Nursing. She is employed as a nurse at the Wexford House.

The bridegroom graduated in 1998 from Butler High School and attended Penn State University, Beaver. He is employed by Kids Count of Butler.

Following a honeymoon trip to the Bahamas and a weeklong cruise, the couple is making their home in Prospect.
