Blackwell, Milbert
Samantha Blackwell and William Milbert Jr., both of East Butler, were united in marriage Dec. 31 at First Baptist Church in Butler. The Chaplain Bob Smith, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, officiated. A reception followed at the East Butler Fire Hall.
The bride is the daughter of Dave and Judy Blackwell of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are William and Beth Milbert Sr. and Andrea Hirth, all of Butler.
The honor attendant was Allyson Wilson of Butler. Bridesmaids included Lisa Kaylor and Shannyne Bergbigler, both of Butler, and Callie Caltriter of Wooster, Ohio.
Performing the duties of best man was Josh Graef of East Butler. Ushers included Grant Weil, Dan Wilson and Zach Milbert, all of Butler. The ring bearer was John Wilson of Butler.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of Butler High School and a 2008 graduate of the Academy of Culinary Arts at Indiana (Pa.) University. She is employed by Kinstaria’s Dance and Recreation in Butler.
The bridegroom graduated in 2006 from Butler High School. He is in the United States Navy.
The couple is making their home in East Butler.
