Allen J. Kravits
Allen J. Kravits, 64, of Butler died Sunday at UPMC Montefiore.
Born Aug. 3, 1944, he was the son of Joseph and Rose Valance Kravits.
He served in the Army.
He had worked in the maintenance department at A-K Steel, retiring in 2003 after 40 years.
He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, the Butler Elks and the American Legion.
Surviving are a son, David A. Kravits of Butler; a daughter, Valerie (Scott) Pfeifer of Butler; a brother, Gary (Vivian) Kravits of Saxonburg; three sisters, Gwen Crawford of Saxonburg, Beverly Reith of Sarver and Linda (Dick) Kravits-Carter of Pensacola, Fla.; and a granddaughter, Samantha Kravits
Preceding him in death were his parents.
<B>KRAVITS</B>— Friends and family of Allen J. Kravits, who died Sunday, March 22, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Michael the Archangel Church. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates.
