Snyder, McCandless
Amanda Snyder and Ryan McCandless, both of Butler, were united in marriage May 28 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Kittanning. The Rev. Kathy LaLonde officiated. A reception followed at the Lenape Heights Golf Course.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Terrie Snyder of Kittanning. Parents of the bridegroom are Michael and Dolores McCandless of Butler.
The maid of honor was Christina Snyder of Kittanning. Bridesmaids included Courtney Magagnotti of Kittanning, Brittany Stephenson of Valencia, Elizabeth Brown of Chicora, Rachel Natali of Butler and Marissa Miller of Kittanning. The flower girl was Olivia Bowser of Ford City.
Performing the duties of best men were Michael McCandless and Nathan McCandless, both of Butler. Ushers included Aaron Stephenson of Valencia, Grant Gabal of Butler and Zachery Miller of Kittanning. The ring bearer was Jacob Bowser of Ford City.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Kittanning High School and a 2006 graduate of Indiana (Pa.) University, where she received a bachelor’s in fashion merchandising and marketing. She is employed as store manager at Rue 21 in Butler.
The bridegroom graduated in 2004 from Butler High School and in 2009 from Indiana (Pa.) University, where he received a bachelor’s in criminology. He is employed as a correctional officer at Butler County Prison.
Following a honeymoon trip to Niagara Falls, the couple is making their home in Butler.
