Blackwood, Stewart
Melissa Blackwood and Andrew Stewart, both of Butler, were united in marriage Sept. 10 in Prospect. The Rev. Bill McNutt officiated. A reception followed at the Prospect Fire Hall.
The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Gayle Blackwood of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Mark and Judith Stewart of Chicora.
The honor attendant was Jessica Blackwood of Butler. Bridesmaids included Angela Morehead, Brandi Lunn and Gemma Steiner.
The flower girl was Rachel Blackwood.
Performing the duties of best man was Nathan Blackwood of Butler. Groomsmen included Keith Hall, Garret Ondo and James Christie.
The ring bearer was Jonah Blackwood.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Slippery Rock High School.
The bridegroom graduated from Moniteau High School.
Both are employed by United Plate Glass in Butler.
Following a honeymoon trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple is making their home in Butler.
