Robert Francis Stahovic

Robert Francis Stahovic, born on April 2, 1933, in Pittsburgh, died peacefully Tuesday.

We honor and lay to rest out beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend.

He is survived by the love of his life of 30 years, Judith A. (Klir) Stahovic, who lives in Saxonburg. Bob and Judy were married on June 19, 1983, and shared an unbreakable bond of innovative spirit and love.

Bob worked intently and intentionally for years in his occupation with pride as an inventor. He was a member of Eckankar and a practicing Eckist.

He proudly was a decorated Korean War veteran, serving in the U.S. Army.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Katherine (Omelite) Stahovic, and other family members.

Survivors include his stepson, Jay Landefeld (Pamela-Dustin and Garret); his stepdaughter, Kathleen Landefeld-Dean (John), and his grandsons, Jacob and Aaron. Additional loved ones include Gloria Virostek (George, deceased), Debby and Dennis Malley (Leah), and Vicki Shaw (Nate). Also surviving are Bob's siblings, Joseph (Gina), Charlie (Diana), Steve (Teresa) Williams (Stahovic) and Katherine Reith, all of the Pittsburgh and surrounding areas.

STAHOVIC — A memorial service for Robert Francis Stahovic, who passed away Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, is planned at the Saxony Health Center.Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the FOX FUNERAL HOME, Saxonburg.Please check the funeral home website, www.foxfuneralhomeinc.com, for details and to leave condolences.
