Roberta J. 'Bobbie' Lewis
Roberta J. “Bobbie” Lewis, 67, of Sarver, formerly of Bruin, passed away Wednesday.
Born on April 6, 1947, in Altoona, she was the daughter of the late Carl F. and Mary J. Keener Trexler.
Bobbie enjoyed bingo, cooking, baking and making candy.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas E. Lewis Jr., who she married on March 21, 1997; her three daughters, Laurie Lucas (Raymond) of Butler, Jonette Valega (David) of Prarieville, La., and Cathy Ealey (Terry) of Karns City; her son, Terry Sweeney of Bruin; and three brothers, Dan Trexler, Gary Trexler and Jim Turner. Bobbie is also survived by her 14 grandchildren, including her oldest granddaughter, Cortiney Knoch-Strobel, who was a loving caregiver and opened her home to Bobbie in her final years, and her eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Brady Knoch.
