Dale Pinkerton </B>of Butler was among 174 32nd degree Scottish Rite Masons who were elevated to the 33rd degree recently during the annual meeting of the Supreme Council of the Scottish Rite Freemasonry, held in Washington, D.C.The 33rd degree is awarded for achievement within the fraternity or contributions to others reflecting credit on freemasonry.———

<B>Allison Dalcamo </B>will compete for the title of Mrs. America 2007 at the Lowes Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, Ariz., Wednesday.Pageant preliminaries begin Sunday. To qualify for the event, Dalcamo earned the title of Mrs. Pennsylvania America at the state contest held on July 8 at Rowan University.The Mrs. America Pageant, celebrating its 31st anniversary, will be televised. It is the only nationally televised pageant for married women. It honors married women for their accomplishments, intelligence, strong family values, community involvement, beauty and integrity. Each state representative promotes her platform during her reign.An English teacher at New Brighton Senior High School, Dalcamo's platform is "Educating People on the Importance of Individuality in Education." At the high school, she is also the director and choreographer for the school's musical.She is a volunteer for Presents for Patients, the Make a Wish Foundation, The Caring Place and the Race for The Cure.Dalcamo resides in Butler with her husband David.Throughout her reign as Mrs. Pennsylvania, she will be making appearances around the state. <B>Crystal Chilcott,</B> 14, of Butler was crowned Teen Miss Riverfest 2007 at the recent East Brady Riverfest event.A freshman at Butler Intermediate High School, she also holds the titles of 2007 Teen Miss Butler County USA and Junior Miss Saxonburg for 2006 and 2007.
