Thomas Leo Miller, 70, of Butler passed away Friday at his home.

He was born April 3, 1943, in Armstrong County, the son of the late Delores Garthwaite.

Tommy started working at the Butler County Association for the Blind at 17 and worked there until this December. He was family to all of the members and staff.

He would help anyone in need and enjoyed sitting, talking and learning about everyone. He would help with whatever was needed including groceries, delivering letters and running errands. He was a sweetheart and will be missed.

Surviving are his uncle, Bob Miller of Butler; two cousins, Arnold Miller and Shirley Robinson, both of Butler; and two stepsisters, Ruth Ann Warner and Harriett Fry, both of Paris, Calif.

MILLER — There will be no visitation for Thomas Leo Miller, who died Friday, Feb. 14, 2014.
