Daniel A. Puz, 69, of Butler passed away Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born on Jan. 7, 1945, in West Winfield, he was the son of the late Andrew P. and Anne Brozenick Puz.

He was employed by Penn United as a project coordinator, retiring in 2007. Before Penn United, he was employed by Oberg Manufacturing.

He especially enjoyed golf, and was a member of numerous golf leagues. He was also an avid sportsman, belonging to many sportsman's organizations and the National Rifle Association. He was a collector of various items.

Surviving are his three sisters, Cecelia M. Puz of Butler, Patricia (Alan) Baum of Florida, and Delores (Bill) Altman of Butler, and his numerous nieces and nephews.
