Jessica and James McMenamin

James and Jessica McMenamin of Slippery Rock will celebrate 50 years of marriage later this summer.

McMenamin married the former Jessica Hawk on April 3, 1971, at Immaculate Conception Church in Wellsville, Ohio.

They have two children, Heather Hedderman of Erie, and Kim O’Brokta of Manassas, Va.

They also have six grandchildren.

He is a police officer in Slippery Rock borough.

Mrs. McMenamin is an educator with Slippery Rock area schools. She is a tour escort with TLC Tours and Premier Tours and Travel. She also is with the Institute for Learning in Retirement in Slippery Rock.

They both enjoy traveling.

The McMenamins are members of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Slippery Rock.
