Clinic topics range from flats to driving tips

Do you want to take your Jeep off-road but you’re not sure how to do it? Would you like to repair a chip in your windshield by yourself?

These topics and more will be discussed during a variety of how-to clinics, presented by Allstate Altmire Agency of Butler.

The clinics will be short lessons presented by various festival sponsors and vendors. The stage is on Machinery Road at the Big Butler Fair Grounds.

Here is the schedule of clinics:

Saturday

• Building a true sport utility Jeep at 10 a.m., CSL Offroad will tell you what you need to build your Jeep, including armor, costs, lift heights, steering and brakes and gears and locks.• Paint protection and car care at 11 a.m. Diehl Jeep will teach you how to keep your Jeep looking brand new. Learn how to protect your paint and care for your vehicle so it runs and looks as great as the day you bought it.• Learn how to operate a Jeep rubicon through off-road obstacles at 1 p.m. Instructors from Nemacolin Woodlands Off-Road Driving Academy are ready to tell you how to handle any obstacle.• Don’t let a flat stop you at noon. A flat tire is no fun, especially when you’re out on the trail. Meridian Off Road Center will tell you the proper way to rebead a tire with a power tank.• Dent repair at 3 p.m. The experts from Diehl Jeep will explain how easy it is to have those little dents and dings removed quickly and inexpensively.• Off-road driving skills at 4 p.m. Rausch Creek Off-Road Park trainers will prepare you to take your Jeep through dirt, mud and rocks. Content is geared for novices as well as seasoned veterans who own both stock and modified Jeeps. Rausch Creek’s trainers are certified by the International Four Wheel Drive Trainers Association.• Meet the drivers of Team Quadratec at 5 p.m. Come see the rock crawling Jeeps and meet the drivers of Quadratec’s race team. They’ll tell you how they take their Jeeps to the extreme.

Sunday• How to install a new softop at 9:30 a.m. The folks from Bestop will share the tips and techniques you need to install their new softop Nx.• Off-road driving skills at 10:30 a.m.• Dent repair at 12 p.m.• Wrangler bumper fabrication at 1 p.m. AtoZ Fabrication Parts will show you how to build a Jeep TJ/YJ Wrangler rear bumper. They will showcase several bumpers in stages of production from early in the process to the finished product.• Windshield chip repair at 2 p.m. Did your windshield get hit by a dreaded rock? Find out how you can take the chip and make it nearly disappear. The folks from Diehl Jeep will share their tips so you can have a clear view again.
