Person airlifted after Muddy Creek Township chimney fire
A person was airlifted to a Pittsburgh hospital after paramedics responded to a chimney fire on Hufnagel Road in Muddy Creek Township around 7:13 p.m.
Portersville-Muddycreek Township Volunteer Fire Department, Prospect Volunteer Fire Department, Harmony Fire District, Portersville Volunteer EMS, LifeFlight and a fire department from Lawrence County responded to the scene, according to dispatch.
It is unknown if other people were in the residence at the time of the fire, dispatch said.
