Businesses in Butler County are preparing to recognize veterans by offering deals and discounts on Veterans Day, Saturday, Nov. 11. Valid military ID is required for most of the following deals and discounts.

Among those offering specials are:

● Applebees: Veterans and active duty military can choose one free entree from among eight options. Offer is dine-in only. Additionally, they will receive a $5 bounce back card for a visit within three weeks.

● Bob Evans: Veterans and active-duty military can choose one free dine-in entree. The restaurant will offer seven choices.

● Buffalo Wild Wings: Veterans and active duty military can receive a free order of 10 boneless wings and fries. Offer is dine-in only.

● Chili's: Veterans and active duty military can choose one free dine-in entree from a select menu.

● Dunkin’: Veterans and active duty military get a free doughnut. Offer available in-store only.

● Eat’n Park: Veterans and active duty military can receive a 10% discount off an entire check all November. On Veterans Day, Eat’n Park will also give a free Smiley Cookie on top of the discount.

● McDonald’s: Veterans and active duty military are able to receive a free meal. The free breakfast meal is a Sausage McMuffin with Egg with a hashbrown and a small soft drink, tea or hot coffee. The free lunch or dinner option includes a 10 piece Chicken McNugget meal with a small order of fries and a small soft drink, tea or hot coffee.

● Sheetz: Veterans and active duty military can receive a free meal at all Sheetz locations and a free car wash at Sheetz stores that have a car wash. The free meal features a half turkey sub, which includes extras and add-ons, and a regular size fountain drink. The car wash offer is only for the $9 option.

● Starbucks: Veterans, active duty military and military spouses can receive a free 12-ounce hot or cold brewed coffee.

● Wendy’s: Veterans and active duty military can receive a free breakfast combo at participating locations. The breakfast combo includes a sandwich, seasoned potatoes, and a coffee or soft drink.
