Michele Jean Bowser McMillen

Michele Jean Bowser McMillen, 54, of Chicora died Thursday at her home.

She was born Aug. 23, 1955, in Kittanning, the daughter of William and the late Jean Wilson Bowser.

Mrs. McMillen was a seamstress. She was a Lutheran and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the VFW Post 249 in Butler. She also enjoyed cooking.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas McMillen, to whom she was married to for 37 years; a son, Eric McMillen, at home; a daughter, Holly Bowman and her husband, Jason, of Pittsburgh; her father, William Bowser of Worthington; three sisters, Cindy Burke and her husband, Kenneth, of Florida, Sally Kirkwood and her husband, Woody, of Kittanning and Marty Stewart of Worthington; and three brothers, William Bowser and his wife, Patricia, of Fenelton, Ken Bowser of Ohio and Mack Bowser of Kittanning.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

<B>MCMILLEN —</B> Friends of Michele Jean Bowser McMillen, who died Thursday, June 3, 2010, will be received from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the <B>F. DUANE SNYDER FUNERAL HOME</B> in Worthington. Services will be at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Lawrence Camberg officiating.
