I agree there is not much of a draw to get people into Butler anymore. When I visit my family I would make a trip in to the Hot Dog Shop or to Roberts Bakery and now they are gone. About the only people who shop in town are the people who work there and probably most of that shopping is done during their lunch break. I can't come up with a good solution. Main Street traffic is a mess and people won't come to shop if they have to pay to park. I remember the wonderful stores that used to be on Main Street or not far off of Main Street. I guess we can call that the good old days. About the only thing that might survive there now in today's economy, are sandwish shops and drug stores.
