Make sure you vote Tuesday
Polling locations across Pennsylvania will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.
First-time voters and people who are voting in a new precinct for the first time must show identification. First-time voters who do not bring ID to the polls may return with it or must be offered a provisional ballot. People returning to polls where they have voted previously do not need an ID.
Additionally, voters who applied for and received a mail ballot and then decide they want to vote at the polls must bring with them their mail ballot, including the outer return envelope, to be voided.
Voters have the right to refuse assistance, and they have the right to vote without being subjected to intimidation, harassment or discriminatory conduct.
Once polls close, the Butler Eagle will provide online updates to the unofficial results of the election as counts come in from different precincts.
