Donald E. Bash

Donald E. Bash, 77, of Bash Lane, Portersville, Perry Township, died on Tuesday at the Ellwood City Hospital. Although Don was in ill health, death was unexpected.

Born Feb. 11, 1935, in Turtle Creek, Pa., he was the son of the late Eugene and Bess Henderson Bash.

He was married for 45 years to Carol Suders Bash, who survives.

Don was the owner operator of D&C Trucking Co. in Portersville for more than 40 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ellwood City.

In addition to his wife, Carol, survivors include two daughters, Debbie Welch of Wampum and Diane (Eric) Belcoski of New Castle; two sons, Joel Bash of Ellwood City and Bryon (Juanita) Bash of Portersville; adopted son, Randy Wallace of Portersville; sister, Lois (Frank) Tangora of Ellwood City; brother, Robert (Eileen) Bash of Baden; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Lloyd, in 2004.

BASH — Visiting hours for Donald E. Bash, who died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave., Ellwood City.

Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Friday with his pastor, the Rev. James Cannistraci, officiating. Interment will follow in the Clinton Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, Ellwood City.
