Lt. McCoy retires after 17 years of service
Lieutenant Don McCoy worked his final with the department on May 19. He was official retired on May 20 after working 17 years with the department.
May 19 was a bittersweet day for us Butler City Firefighters IAFF Local 114 as Lieutenant Don McCoy's final shift took pace at BBF. As of May 20, McCoy was officially retired after 17 years of dedicated service.
"We thank you for everything you have done and your years of service as a Marine," the organization said on its Facebook page. "We wish you all the best on your next adventure in life and you will be greatly missed!"
