The Butler County Symphony Orchestra has announced a location change for the remaining summer Concerts to Munch By series held at noon Wednesdays.

All remaining performances will be held at the symphony office, 259 S. Main St.

HARMONY — Harmony Museum's antique gun show on Aug. 10 will offer an array of guns, swords and accouterments, many for sale, representative of those that contributed to settlement of the “Ohio Country” and other important events and eras in the nation's development.About 30 dealers and collectors will participate in the ninth annual event, open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the museum's Stewart Hall, 218 Mercer St. Displays comprise primarily civilian and military long arms and pistols, with emphasis on the American long rifle.Admission is $5, with proceeds benefiting museum operations.More information is available at 724-452-7341.

SLIPPERY ROCK — Old Stone House has joined with Pennsylvania Humanities Council Commonwealth speaker Steven Anderson to present “Homegrown Heroes: Pennsylvania Communities in the Civil War” at 11 a.m. Saturday.The presentation is free, but reservations are required and may be made by calling 724-738-2409.Then the museum will offer “Conflict on the Venango,” highlighting the French and Indian War, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 10 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 11. The weekend's events will include a simulated conflict between French and Native American troops and British soldiers in the woods behind the Stone House. Guided tours of the museum will be offered both days.The suggested donation for the “Venango” program is $3 per person or $5 per family.Old Stone House, owned and operated by Slippery Rock University, is at the intersection of Routes 8, 528 and 173.

ALLEGHENY TWP, Westmoreland County — In August, Freeport Theatre Festival will premiere “Rivertown Firemen's Jubilee,” written by Drew Fennell of the River City Brass and FTF's resident playwright Rennick Steele.The musical celebrates the courage, bravery and commitment to community of volunteer first responders.Performance dates have changed and are Aug. 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31 and Sept. 1, 6, 7 and 8, all at 8 p.m., at the theater on the Steele Farm at 2498 White Cloud Road, two miles south of Freeport off Route 356.Tickets are $15 for general admission, $12 for senior citizens and $10 for students.
